THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE

THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE

Cohen calls trump a racist, a con man, and a cheat.

Cohen has nothing to lose and nothing to gain.  He is set to go to prison but when a man has been bamboozled, been coerced, been promised a piece of the throne, he's going to do what his master says.  He's a slave to sin and sold his soul to the Devil; a liar, a cheat, a racist, a bigot, a con artist; and when you have power over your protege', he's not going to disobey his orders.  He pledged to be his partner in crime not thinking about his family and consequences when it falls apart; smooth sailing because of the power, no one will speak out or snitch but there was a crack in the dam that nobody could patch up and they start to turn on each other.

The TRUTH shall set you free!

He was the fixer, the right hand man and when you cut off the right hand the body doesn't work in line like it used to.  Cohen looks like the liar but the real liar is the person who created this organization.  Cohen went from integrity, sworn oath and pledges to clients, to no longer a legal practicing attorney because he became the clean up guy to clean up Trump's shit and change his diapers.  Who knows how much shit is plopped all around the city; prostitution, infidelity, theft, fraud, bigotry, cheating, lying, and an asset to America's enemies; looking for the next way to con America and using Cohen to cover up kickbacks and loan fraud.  Surprised, we are only missing Murder, but he was elected U.S. President and never gave Cohen a seat in the White House because he held too many secrets and you can't keep your dirt guy in the White House, yet asked for so much but gave him so little.  So Cohen started soliciting President passes to the White House.

8 Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 Early in the morning he went back to the Temple area. The people all came to him, and he sat and taught them.

3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought a woman they had caught in bed with a man who was not her husband. They forced her to stand in front of the people.

4 They said to Jesus, “Teacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery.

5 The Law of Moses commands us to stone to death any such woman. What do you say we should do?”

They were saying this to trick Jesus. They wanted to catch him saying something wrong so that they could have a charge against him.

But Jesus stooped down and started writing on the ground with his finger.

7 The Jewish leaders continued to ask him their question. So he stood up and said,

“Anyone here who has never sinned should throw the first stone at her.”

8 Then Jesus stooped down again and wrote on the ground.

9 When they heard this, they began to leave one by one. The older men left first, and then the others. Jesus was left alone with the woman standing there in front of him.

10 He looked up again and said to her,

“Where did they all go? Did no one judge you guilty?”

11 She answered, “No one, sir.”

Then Jesus said, “I don’t judge you either. You can go now, but DON'T SIN AGAIN.”

Mercy

Jacob Banks

Followed your name, into the wild, yeah, yeah
Sold you my shame, I ran a mile
I sing your lullabies, your melodies like a symphony
We burn the same, inside a fire

I just need a little mercy, mercy on me
I could use a little mercy, mercy on me
I drank your holy water, your liberty, your make-believe
I could use a little mercy, oh mercy on me

I played the game, I reconciled, well, well, well, well
I wear the blame, like a suit and tie
I sing your lullabies, your melodies like a symphony
We fall the same, when we walk the wire

I just need a little mercy, mercy on me
I just need a little mercy, mercy on me
I drank your holy water, your liberty, your make-believe
I could use a little mercy, oh mercy on me

I keep burning
You keep turning me down
I keep burning
You keep turning me down

I just need a little mercy, mercy on me
I just need a little mercy, mercy on me
I drank your holy water, your liberty, your make-believe
I could use a little mercy, oh mercy on me

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9 English Standard Version (ESV)

One who is wise is cautious and turns away from evil,

but a fool is reckless and careless.

Proverbs 14:16 English Standard Version (ESV)

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:5-6 King James Version (KJV)

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God

Romans 3:23 English Standard Version (ESV)

The Truth Will Set You Free

31 So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

34 Jesus said, “The truth is, everyone who sins is a slave—a slave to sin.

42 Jesus said to them, “If God were really your Father, you would love me. I came from God, and now I am here. I did not come by my own authority. God sent me.

43 You don’t understand the things I say, because you cannot accept my teaching.

44 Your father is the devil. You belong to him. You want to do what he wants. He was a murderer from the beginning. He was always against the truth. There is no truth in him. He is like the lies he tells.

Yes, the devil is a liar. He is the father of lies.

John 8:31-32;34;42-44 English Standard Version (ESV)

For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again:

but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Proverbs 24:16 King James Version (KJV)

Jesus Is Tempted by the Devil

4 Now filled with the Holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan River. And then the Spirit led him into the desert.

2 There the devil tempted Jesus for 40 days. Jesus ate nothing during this time, and when it was finished, he was very hungry.

The devil said to him,

“If you are the Son of God, tell this rock to become bread.”

Jesus answered, “The Scriptures say,

‘It is not just bread that keeps people alive.’”

5 Then the devil took Jesus and in a moment of time showed him all the kingdoms of the world.

The devil said to him,

“I will make you king over all these places. You will have power over them, and you will get all the glory. It has all been given to me. I can give it to anyone I want.

7 I will give it all to you, if you will only worship me.”

Jesus answered, “The Scriptures say,

‘You must worship the Lord your God.
    Serve only him.’”

9 Then the devil led Jesus to Jerusalem and put him on a high place at the edge of the Temple area. He said to him,

“If you are the Son of God, jump off!

10 The Scriptures say,

‘God will command his angels
    to take care of you.’

11 It is also written,

‘Their hands will catch you
so that you will not hit your foot on a rock.’”

12 Jesus answered, “But the Scriptures also say,

‘You must not test the Lord your God.’”

13 The devil finished tempting Jesus in every way and went away to wait until a better time.

Luke 4:1-13 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

Temptations to Sin

17 And he said to his disciples,

“Temptations to sin are sure to come, but woe to the one through whom they come!

2 It would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were cast into the sea than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.

3 Pay attention to yourselves! If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him,

4 and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, ‘I repent,’ you must forgive him.”

Luke 17:1-4 English Standard Version (ESV)

Sin and Forgiveness

17 Jesus said to his followers, “Things will surely happen that will make people sin. But it will be very bad for anyone who makes this happen.

2 It will be very bad for anyone who makes one of these little children sin. It would be better for them to have a millstone tied around their neck and be drowned in the sea.

3 So be careful!

“If your brother or sister in God’s family does something wrong, warn them. If they are sorry for what they did, forgive them.

4 Even if they do something wrong to you seven times in one day, but they say they are sorry each time, you should forgive them.”

Luke 17:1-4 Easy Read Version (ERV)

“But God said to that man, ‘Foolish man! Tonight you will die. So what about the things you prepared for yourself?

Who will get those things now?’

“This is how it will be for anyone who saves things only for himself.

To God that person is not rich.”

Luke 12:20-21 Easy-to-Read Version (ERV)

And just when we thought there was no moral compass left in America.... Cohen chose Truth Over Trump.

GOP wanted to hold him accountable for all his sins and lies but yet expunge Trump, their valor leader and father of all lies...  The Devil at least knows when to back up away from the righteous or those that are repenting and leave them alone.  Cohen since being convicted, is morally drained having to repent for all his immoral acts, burdened by the consequences of how his actions have hurt his family, especially his children and caused his separation while imprisoned.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 6:23 (NIV)

I could see the burdens of sin lifting today as he gave his testimony, not just... 1) a formal written or spoken statement, given in a court of law with proof that corruption exists, but 2) a public recounting of a religious conversion or experience. (dictionary definitions)  The latter definition is one that I am familiar with in church - A testimony is about a healing, a salvation, a prayer request, or a blessing that is infused with faith, mercy, praise and grace.  Cohen's testimony was one of repentance, rebuke, remorse, remission, then to revival, and finally restoration.  He was redeemed through the experience of his testimony as he confessed to the government, to the American people, but most importantly, to his family and will be able to face the punishment for his sins.
